Homes by Avi began in 1978 with founder Avi Amir’s commitment to build quality homes, keep promises and put customers first.
Since then, we’ve grown from a Calgary homebuilder into a group of companies serving communities across North America. Through that growth, one idea has remained the same: we approach every home like it’s the only one we’re building.
Today, we build everything from laned and front-drive homes to duplexes, townhomes and condominiums, creating homes for different lifestyles, stages and ways of living.

Darren Soltes is a distinguished executive with over 27 years of experience in the home building and real estate industries. As the Broker and President of Blue Jean Condominium Management and Blue Jean Property Management, Darren has been pivotal in developing and implementing a client-focused approach, significantly enhancing the often-challenging experience of condominium and property management.
Prior to founding Blue Jean brokerages, Darren held several senior management positions within the Homes by Avi Group of Companies, where he successfully directed technical, HR, and corporate initiatives. His tenure also included leading the Texas division as President. Currently, Darren serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Homes by Avi Group of Companies.
